Overview : A good action flick.
Storyline : The story begins with Surendra Katyal ( Ronit Roy ) who is commander in chief of special task force , his son. Arun Katyal ( Siddarth Malhotra).is fascinated by his father , but Surendra Katyal on a mission gets killed.Arun is determined that his father’s task force Yodha will not shut down and he forms his team , but he follows the principle of no negotiations with terrorist group .Arun’s critical mission during the Amritsar plane hijack, where his efforts tragically led to the death of a V.I.P passenger who was a Indian Nuclear specialist , scientist After that enquiry was placed on Arun and his team that resulted in the dissolution of the Yodha task force. A few years later, Arun finds himself on another hijacked plane. However, his former coworkers and the government suspect him of orchestrating the hijack as a form of revenge for the Yodha , what follows is the roller coaster of events that forms the crux of the movie
Technical Review: Director Sagar Ambre has penned the story .Though the story is same based on Terrorist and India Pakistan age old issue of Kashmir but the way it is presented will keep u hooked to your seat .The first half a buzz is created regarding Siddarth Malhotra character , is it going to be negative , but the second half is the one with all action sequences that makes it fast paced and interesting.
Performances:
Sidharth is phenomenal in portraying Arun Katyal with incredible passion, courage, and resilience. His performance shines, particularly in the gripping action sequences. which are combat action sequences .Raashii Khanna initially impresses as Priyamvada Katyal, but her character fizzles out in the story. Yet, she does a good job with whatever screen time she gets
Disha Patani plays a pivotal role in the movie, these type of roles suit her that has shades of gray. Sunny Hinduja is another actor who delivers a promising performance.
Final Word : Ovèrall good action sequences by Siddarth Malhotra makes it a must watch
